Ground Zero Mosque! Place it somewhere Else in New York

I want you to put yourself the reader into the shoes of somebody working at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. You are working in your office, your talking to a friend on the phone. While you are discussing your plans for the weekend you hear a loud noise outside in the distance, you blow it off for the moment. You are talking to your friend about having a picnic on Saturday. That sound outside is getting louder you ask your co-worker whats that sound and when you glance over to ask her you see a plane in the air, you wonder if something is wrong. Could it be an engine problem etc. It then strikes you the plane is going to hit the World Trade Center. BOOM! You are knocked out by the impact.

You wake up to screaming and sweat coming down your face. You looking around and see the carnage caused by the plane crash. You look to your left and see your co-worker and friend Jeff is dead. You stand up your legs can barely support your weight. You walk over to see your friend Greg is alive, he’s sitting against a desk that has fallen over. You walk over to him. You help Greg up. You both look around and you both agree to get out of the World Trade Center. Just then you two hear a moan. Greg notices it’s Susan another co-worker. She is stuck under a piece of wall that fell over onto her. You and Greg help her up, you three look around your office and see if anybody is alive, there is nobody left. You three then decide to get out of the World Trade Center. You have 40 floors to travel down to reach safety. Along the way you see people who will not be coming home to their families, you see body parts with no bodies. You have five floors left, you still see the carnage on every floor. You make a turn on the steps and you hear a cough. You see a lady sitting on the steps. Greg, Susan and you agree that you will help the lady who none of you three know. The elderly lady says she cant walk any more. You guys are trying to help her but she wants you guys to save yourselfs. You will not let that happen you pick her up and put you over your shoulders. The last few floors you guys start hearing a ruble above you, the tower is about to give way. You guys are now in the lobby, you have made it to safety. You make it outside you know you guys could die by the fall of the tower, so you must act quick. You notice a bus that was abondened. You take your elderly co-worker and place her in the bus. You tell Greg and Susan to help get people on the bus. People join in to get the injured on the bus. You find everyone in sight. You get in the drivers seat and make your escape.

You and the other people such as Greg and Susanplus thousands more of people are heroes for your actions. Many heroes went home to their families and thousands did not.

Thousands are dead. Kids have lost a mother or father, maybe even both. Parents have lost sons or daughters. Thousands lost co-workers, thousands lost friends!

Now almost nine years after that tragic day Soho Properties purchased land by Ground Zero to construct the Cordoba House, this is the problem with many people. You want to know why? Because the Cordoba House is a mosque, and guess who is fine with the construction of the Cordoba House? Mayor Michael Bloomberg

Michael Bloomberg is somewhat right when he says New York is open to tolerence and openess. That tolerence and openess should not include any area near Ground Zero. Or for that matter anywhere near the Pentagon or the field by Shanksville.

Mayor Bloomberg why don’t you ask the families of Rick Rescorla, Mike Boyle, Albert Conde,  Amy Jarret, Michael Tarrou or any victims families if they want that mosque built there. I bet not many if any would support the idea you are going to let happen. We must respect their husbands, their wifes, kids and  grandkids memories. In my opinion if that mosque is built you will show that you don’t care about the victims of 9/11/2001. Thats just my opinion.
